A fascinating mix of business acumen and foodie passion, Salima used her background in strategy consulting and corporate finance to move into the restaurant space over 10 years ago and has since been a serial founder in the food and beverage industry.
Arvinda Gohil
Arvinda has dedicated her working life to making a difference to individuals and communities. She was the founder Chief Executive at Unity Housing Association in Leeds and has since held a number of leadership roles in housing, social enterprise and charities. She is currently the CEO of Central YMCA, the world’s first YMCA founded in London in 1844.
Jivan de Silva
Jivan has been involved with a number of leading hospitality businesses, as part of investment teams and in advisory and management roles. He has been Strategy Director at Nando’s UK & Ireland since 2015 driving the commercial success of the business, including a transformation to becoming multichannel, while pushing forward Nando’s Changing Lives programme.
Johanna Campion
Johanna spent 25 years in investment banking with Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, Lehman and Societe Generale. Today she is is involved in a variety of growth businesses as an investor, mentor and board member. She is an NED at Web Financial Group, a digital transformation fintech backed by Bridgepoint, and an NED at HiveOnline, which brings sustainable digital finance to rural farmers in Africa.
Shaun Prime
Shaun comes to us from Selina, a rapid growth hotel brand. Responsible for opening more than 50 hotels, he’s overseen expansions into 11 new countries. At The Conduit, Shaun is responsible for the design, rollout, and management of all our clubs.
Liam Black (Exec Chairman)
Liam is involved in a range of purpose driven businesses as investor, mentor and board member. He was CEO in the Jamie Oliver Group and has founded and led more than a dozen social enterprises. He chairs the Guardian Council at the global mental health business Togetherall and is the author of The Social Entrepreneur’s A to Z (available in the Conduit bookshop!)

Following a corporate career in media, automotive and finance, Karen took over as CEO at Belu Water, relaunching a brand which has become one of the UK’s best-known award wining social enterprises. Karen is currently Vice Chair of Social Enterprise UK and Chair of restaurant start up One Plate One Price.
