    __________________________

The Conduit inhabits an 8-floor neo-classical building on Conduit Street in the heart of London. The street derived its name from the pipes, laid in 1236, that carried water from sources in Hyde Park through the “Conduit Meadows” to supply the city – a legacy we hope to continue by nurturing and sustaining London’s growth.

ROOFTOP TERRACE

The 6th floor terrace at The Conduit features an original outdoor fireplace and provides fantastic views of the sunset.

RESTAURANT AND LOUNGE

Conduit members come to the 4th floor Restaurant and Lounge to relax and enjoy our fantastic sustainable food and drink offering.

EVENT SPACE

The 1st floor is the home of The Conduit’s insightful events programme, with over 200 talks, workshops and dinners throughout the year. It’s also available for commercial hire.

THE LIBRARY

The Library houses over 1,200 books related to topics including philosophy, economics, social entrepreneurship and the environment, along with a selection of essays, letters and biographies.

GARDEN TERRACE

Surrounded by indigenous flowers and plants, the garden terrace is a wonderful place to enjoy a glass of wine or a meal from our Restaurant.

THE SPEAKEASY

Nestled on the cellar level, the Speakeasy is an intimate venue with cocktails inspired by the sounds of the Prohibition, alongside late-night entertainment.

Design Partners

The Conduit’s design draws inspiration from two distinct aesthetics: the simplicity, functionality and uncluttered minimalism characteristic of Scandinavian design and the vibrancy, colour and texture of the global South. The result is a space that is elegant, informal and intimate – a perfect setting for creativity, inspiration and collaboration.

FURNITURE

Each piece of carefully crafted furniture has its own unique story of the makers behind them. We’re proud to support independent craftspeople from the UK, who have a focus on heritage and sustainability.

CERAMICS

Exquisite ceramics and intricately-carved pots can be seen across the floors, from the sculpted vases in our reception area by South African ceramicist Nic Sithole to the Sussex Ceramics plates in our restaurant.

ART

The walls of The Conduit are brightened by paintings and photography from African artists including Ruby Amanze, Emeka Udemba and Tadesse Mesfin. Our stairwell hosts a rotating gallery curated by Workplace Foundation, a charity supporting emerging and under-represented artists.
